Can anyone help me?

I'm interested in finding an updated version of the old 1987 arcade classic - XENOPHOBE.

Perferably on CD ROM for PC.

I love this game from the 80's and have never found it anywhere, until today...little bits and peices of information but nothing solid for purchase / updated versions, etc.

Can anyone help me locate this lost treasure?

AFAIK Xenophobe was never redone for the PC. The best version was done for the Atari Lynx and is the closest I think you'll find to a updated version.

Versions were also released for the 2600, 7800, and NES. A XE prototype may also exist.

Anyone know of any other versions?

There is a version of Xenophobe for the Atari ST as well, although I haerd it's not that good.

But then again, I don't have that one.

If you want to play the original arcade version of Xenophobe on your PC, your best bet is to download MAME, which is an excellent arcade emulator. In addition to MAME, you'll also need the Xenophobe ROMs, and I'm not sure where you'd get them now that www.make.dk has taken them offline. I'm sure someone here can hook you up.

heh where is king atari when ya need him

he loves this game and probably has almost every version of it

but im just guessing

he does.. trust me. i hooked him up with the MAME.. if anyone needs it just tell me.. or any ROM for that matter.. just no NEOGEO, too big for me to send.
