What does that piano on post #10 do? If you tell me you can create your own music for a NES game, I will wet my pants. Twice.

It's supposed to make it easier to learn to play. it hooks up to the NES and is used with a piano tutering cartridge... has lessons and little mini games.
Happy to dissapoint.... as wetted pants smell bad.

Hmmm, that's possibly the lamest thing I've ever heard.
Edit: Just noticed your edit. My pants are still dry. We appreciate it!

Not that you CAN'T make NES music. Just not with the Miracle set.
And don't be expecting to inject it into any games, as you'd have to write them yourself.
But for just making music, this site seems to have a bit of information. I haven't rummaged around to see if there's a proper tutorial.

I'm not even halfway yet, but I'm only missing 12 carts of R7-R10. In other words, I have like half the R7s and an R9, and I'm still too cheap to pay $3 for a bunch of R1 and R2 games. The NES has almost a bell curve distribution centered around R4 or R5 or so.
Now if I could just find where I stashed that cable that I now think might have been a Miracle adapter cable. Can someone post a picture of a Miracle NES cable and note any special markings on it?
