That would be Phaser Patrol. Different kind of game, though, and Galaxian is still good.

FINALLY!!!!!!!!!!!
It took some time but I finally improved! Sorry, but no digital camera, cell phone camera or scanner (is there any other way to provide proof of the score?)

and that is it. I'm done with this game! Anyone wanna buy a slightly used Galaxian cartridge that has been recently dented by someone whacking it with a six-iron? It also is slighly flatter than most 2600 carts because it accidentally got run over seven or eight times by a rather large SUV. Nonetheless, I guarantee you'll get as much enjoyment as I did when I played it (smile).

11160 Too bad some of the arcade tricks don't work (1) In the arcade, if a flagship charges without escort and is not shot, it will disappear but will reappear in the following wave. Since the arcade layout features six escorts, it's possible to miss a flagship in one round and get three 800-point flagships the next; (2) In the arcade, shooting a flagship will cause alien attacks to stop for a few seconds. This can be useful when combined with (1), because it allows one to save up valuable flagships (breathing time) until a later wave.

Yeah, this week may be over, but I'm not done with them Galaxians yet!!
I just managed to achieve a new personal all-time best of 51.040 points. This game is sooo brilliant!
