*hehs at FoeBane* Just out of curiosity, if I was to buy a TV that had component inputs (CrCbY), would it be impossible to connect the chroma and luma to the TV due to the seperate chroma inputs? I need to get a new TV anyway due to how poorly mine is doing for some emulators I have anyway.

Well component video is an RGB input, not the same as svideo (chroma/luma).
But chances are if you get a TV that's high enough quality to have component video inputs, then chances are it's going to have an svideo jack or two. Then you just need a cable that has female RCA jacks (for the chroma/luma plugs) on one end and an svideo plug on the other. Simple to make, I've made about four or five myself for just this reason
