I believe I have one for $50 + shipping.

May or may not be reasonable, depending on what you can get them on eBay for at the moment.

Atari only made 8k and 16k modules for the Atari 800.

A few comanies like Mosaic made memory upgrade cards.

So i guess those jobbies on Curts site, never left prototyping stage, shame when you consider that the 800 also was capable of bank switching (d800 i beleive)

those prices are crazy... he said reasonable. 150 dollars for a 130xe plus shipping? I paid less then that when I bought one in 1986!!! I recently picked up a mint
condition 65xe on ebay for 5 bucks plus 20 shipping with power supply.

I think EBay is his best bet unless he stumbles upon one at a local tag sale or flea
market.

Hi

Bought my 800 at 4Jays. Check out the 8-bit page they have:

http://www.4jays.com/atari8bit.html

I think that page is a little outdated, better send email asking for updated prices.

Regards

I bought ab ATARI 800 on EBAY and I got burned so be careful whaen you buy anything on EBAY.

The 800 was packaged poorly resulting in severe damage to the 800 which made it unusable, there was a large hole on the back left side big enough for my hand to go into and a crack from that hole around the left dide and ending past the space bar and the keyboard sunk inside the computer  but I saved what I coud from it before I threw it away.

The unit looked like it was NEVER cleaned and it had a dark brown tint to it from lack of cleaning.
