I have recently come into the possesion ofa 800xl but have no computer to tv cable or manual. can any one help. I have 30 to 40 floppies and 20 or so cartridges for it. thanks

Try this:

5pin DIN to Audio/Video RCA connectors -- $5

The above will give you a nice clean picture, but if you want to have the output modulated to channel 3 or 4, then below is a good solution... you just need an RCA to RCA cable and this adaptor. The website says it is an RF Modulator replacement, but it is not really!

Since the 800XL has a built-in TV out port, so you can use the same kind of connection you would on the 2600, 5200 or 7800, that is, a conventional switchbox. As Cybernoid points out, the picture won't be as clean as a direct A/V connection, but it will be "good enough."

Otherwise known as çoax/coaxial cable, if you still get a crappy picture, i beleive there's an adjstment screw on the underside of the XL case, i think you'll need a philips flathead screwdriver to twiddle it
