After all this long time, I feel for a "must for conclusions" about the A8 ....

One example: I planned a small demo with G2F and RMT resultings... It should have been a "Sonic" Demo with graphics capabilities of the A8, that you never have seen before.... You may know the soundtrack ... and you may know the thread with the "greetings".... well. Now that Mux doesn't want to create new Software, the Demo will also never be finished. And I have to add, that I cannot have greetings to "all" ATARI Freaks around the world, because It would be a "must" to exclude the unbearable JBJ and his fanatics. Well... to write this in a scroller would really be ridiculous, wouldn't it?
It seems, you will either never see another G2F by me, nor you will hear any RMT experiments.... and you will never have to take care about anything that has to do with "emkay", but I will finish my started projects (with regards to Fandal).

Well.... I`m not off the ATARI Scene, But I'm retired in every way of producing something for the A8.

Edit: Mux wanted me to edit, that he is still coding for the A8. But I don't want the Sonic demo released, because it's nonsense.

emkay....

Okay, if you don't like me to finish this demo, then i won't....though it's partially working......except for the scroller.

:?: I never said that i'm still coding for a8bit, only that i won't quit coding for ever.

How about the planned 'funny step' demo? Can i still use your tune?

emaky - I dont think anyone suggested stopping work on anything - IN fact 99% of the frequent contributors here enjoy and appreciate everyones effort who post new/enhanced stuff.

The big stumbling block is to cut the flame wars out - agree to disagree but dont leave the scene.

Im not a programmer but I hope the HSC Club is introducing new titles to folks or reintroducing those long forgotten. We all can contribute in some form or fashion - letting a personality dispute get in the way is just a bummer for the larger part of the community IMHO :(

Heaven... were there any famous German/Euro games crackers/hackers like we had in the UK like john Williams (multiboot), ian K, C elton, alpha boot, rob c, george from blackpool etc... or wasn't games cracking/hacking the done/in thing to do in europe/germany (apart from those horrible dos loaders/menus, could'nt ever stand them and still can't)

I did like the bootmanager loaders from homesoft (i've all 300 on my pc)

It isn't caused by "he said that". The problem is that in all A8 times the essentials are missing.... trying to show, where the lacks are, always results in "what a crap he's doing" . Only some people realize, the real cause for my doing.

Well... here the real last testtune, because it shows one of the never before solved problems, which are not handled in every tracker.

If I write now, that we can have all different sound styles by full controll of the sound start of every filter voice by cycle exact programming, some poeple still don't realize what I'm writing, some people will think "he's nuts" and most of them are simply ignoring it.
At the end it is similar to "doing nothing".

Sure it's unique sound. The filter improves the tune.

Have your heard music of game Submission. It appears third voice it's a special technique too. Or I'm wrong?

Submission uses 64kHz clocking and simple "parallel" filters which sound very "square".

The melody is built on 15kHz filter, with a special timing, that builds a sound that is pitched much higher than one channel can play at 15khz.
Controlling the timing (which is as possible as controlling the colours in a rasterline), means to have a melodic voice and a straight notation range and clean bass sounds.
Full control of the filter isn't possible in all available pokey trackers.
Actually, I was explaining it in the old days (80's)... and I was showing it since RMT is available... and I really have enough of it for the rest of my life now ;)
