It is possible to kill pterry?

Yes. See attached short video. You must attack pterry from the front (and may be from behind?) but I still don't know when exactly I can kill it as it kills me in most cases.

Pinpoint is the key word - as in the arcade there is like a pixel or something area that if hit exactly will kill it.

Not sure Ive seen instructions on where this is on the 8bit version. It was later removed from the Arcade version I hear.

You can kill the pterodactyl with your lance when he opens his beak. Damn risky and worth just 1,000 points.

You can kill him with his beak closed too. Also you can kill him by hitting him from behind.

Basically your lance tip has to be at the exact point of the beak, or his tail. I used to do it all the time in the 5200 version.. pterry hunting is great

I think it is mistake. The round just started. There shoud be 27th, shouldn't it?

I managed to play a perfect game up to the pterry board, then lost all 7(?) lives in less than 2 1/2 minutes.

My Bro and me would play this for a long time. One of the best games to tag team the enemy. That was my first try at the game. Its much easier than the 7800 version.

My score was too late anyway.
