On my weekly thrift run, I stumbled across a Sega Pico. As far as I can determine, this was more of an educational system than a video game -- though one cartridge is titled Sonic's Game World.
How easy is it to find carts? This is the first time I've ever seen one?
If anybody in the Edmonton-area wants it, its at the Goodwill in Strahcona, in the toy section. The price is about $30 and the box is well sealed, so I can't tell if its complete or if more games are included.

back then i wanted anything by sega, i saw this system but i passed on this sega product because i didnt want to become smarter |

Last time I checked, Ames department stores were liquidating their inventory of Sega Pico units. Ames is a discount store franchise that has many stores in the Northeast U.S.
It's really not that hard to come across. It's essentially a Sega Master System posing as an educational machine. I also think that www.VGLQ.com may actually sell the unit and games/modules. It's really not that rare of an item... |
