Not a file version but if you have an Freezer or play it in an emulator you can patch some bytes to disable collision detection:
Change the bytes at $134F-$1351 to EA,EA,EA

That Atari Cave is a nice website

Those tips are really cool but I'm playing on real hardware An improved ver with slightly more time would be better than a trainer/cheat as it would make it a playable game

The first time I played the Last V8 was on the C64, it turned into a joystick thrower in 2 mins and as Jason says, Red Max was no better for the life of my joysticks!

The music was lovely, the game....A complete S**T!!!

I quite like Red Max - have beaten the first stage but can't remember if I've beaten the 2nd one! Another one to dig out for a play
