So eBay doesn't allow the sale of prototypes because they consider it beta software, akin to selling an unreleased version of PhotoShop. Some people have suggested to me you can still sell prototypes on eBay by NOT mentioning that they are prototypes, with the additional suggestion of using a reserve price, a high starting bid, etc, etc....

Can anyone show me an example of a completed listing on eBay of such a sale? If they are no longer in the database, can they explain their story?

Has anyone here ever bought or sold a proto on eBay? Anywhere else? I sold two of mine (Microgrammon SB and Galaxian) through the forums here... (Thank you AtariAge!)

I have many more to sell. Please let me know if there is a title you are interested in. I will negociate for multiple purchases. Please don't lowball ball me, I have had these carts for many years, and am in no hurry to get rid of them.

Please see my listing in the Marketplace forum which includes pics & fair prices.

Last Starfighter? Iīd be very interested in that one.

Regarding protos and eBay, I bought two Jaguar protos not too long ago. Space War 2000 and Phase Zero.
Canīt actually remember much from the transaction other than they probably werenīt listed as protos.

Is anyone interested in me running a mock auction here at AtariAge for any of the following titles? The opening bid will of course be much lower than my current prices.

I have an 100% positive ebay feedback rating of 150 almost entirely from selling... (sold over 200 items)

I have these protos in in my collection ::

I'd be interested in seeing this one. It's only two weeks earlier than the final version I have, but I wonder if it's actually different or not.
