I've been offered an 800 by a guy, it tests out OK, but the text is PINK.
Is there an adjustment for this? (wanna know before I pick it up.)

If the foreground looks pink, it could just be a dirty GTIA color pot. The delay pot is on the CPU board that is between the back of the machine and the last RAM slot under the metal shield-- not accessible without opening it up. There is a small hole to adjust on the left of the metal shield if you don't want to pull the motherboard out, but you'll have to take the case apart.

It is on the top right of the CPU board. The IC's are facing the back of the machine.

I recall using a POKE you could change the text color

poke 710, ?? was background

poke 709, ?? was the text color

?? is the number you type in to get the a color and 0 is black if i remember correctly
