A8 Berzerk ROM image wanted

I found a Berzerk ROM image in the Holmes Collection and loaded into my SRAM cartridges (homebrewed) but I can't go beyond the tittle screen. Problem exists in my 800, 800XL, Atari800Win Plus

I tried pressing all the keys, console buttons, and joystick buttons in all four joystick ports (800) but the game won't start playing.

Am I missing something obvious?

Do I have a corrupt image?

I'm also having trouble with the Defender image. All other images, 8K(*) and 16K, work fine.

* - The 800 doesn't like 8K images loaded in a cartridge which has 16K of address space unless I duplicate the init address from location $BFFE to $9FFE (I think those are the locations, don't have my notes).
