John Maris has announced on the dutch retro computer forum (www.retrocomputerdag.nl) that from the 1st of May 2006 ALL ANG Software titles (including the Polish Mirage titles) will be freeware.

All ANG titles may be freely distributed. It is still prohibited to change any of the code and to distribute the software in its original (or reproduced) packaging.

For all collectors outhere, original stock of ANG software titles are still available exclusively through www.rewindgames.com for (almost) PD prices.

Hi Fred,

Could you please tell me what programs from the list are used for?

AMJ Base 3.0 (database?)
Basicdup (programming utility?)
Hack Picture II (graphics utility?)
Home studio (what kind of studio. graphics, sound?)

Thanks in advance. It should make my database more accurate.

Regards,
Gury

Hi Gury,

You are quite right!

AMJ Base is a database program
Basicdup is an utility which gives extra (DOS) commands to Turbo basic
Hack Picture II is able to hack graphics from games
Home studio is a program to compose music.

Regards,
Fred
