Guys,

I have 2-3 projects going on right now and as the deadline of the minigame compo was extended i am planning to make a quick conversion of my game which i have written 1987... (http://atari.fandal....p?files_id=3399)

for that i need a player/missle artist... ;)

therefor i would need:

1) a 4x8, 3 colour char for the falling down stones from the vulcano erruption
2) the background vulcano (40 pixel wide composed of 4 players, 1 colour) the vulcano will be placed on the right side in the background

the hero sprite is not decided yet.... ;) so i am not sure if it will be the ambulance or not...

you are stars... ;)

btw. how do you like the background raster effects? cool...could be used for 2600 as well...

in the zip you'll find the old game from 1987 (my 1st assembler game on 800... ;)) and the new one. you can load them into atari800win emulator.

Either that - or the fact that your projects usually end as vaporware ;)

gameplay will be like the 1987 game whirlwind i have included in the zip... but with nicer gfx... ;) in 1987 i havent knew that you can use more colours on 800... ;)

btw. in meantime i found the vic game which whirlwind is based on: whirlwind rescue... but i havent found any image on the net... so if someone has the file i would be pleased to get a .tap or .d64... :)

I tried the Whirlwind game as well but I couldn't figure that out either :?

Would you mind giving a brief synopsis; controls, etc.? Also, PAL or NTSC?

PAL...

when game is loaded (showing the 2 towers) you can start the game by pressing select... (strange bug... i used wrong CMP in the game... why not start console key?)

you have to rescue the yellow man on the right side of the screen. you have to use the joystick to move the ambulance towards him and avoid the whirlwinds which move towards the street. when you catched him just head back to the left screen and repeat that as long as you can. every 10th round the skyscrapers are built up again...

what a great gameplay... hahahaha... ;) but it was my 1st atari 800 game in 1987...boy i was proud like hell... jesus...
