These people are obviously bored and desperate.

That is just SOOO Frikkin wrong... *sigh* Ill never understand the need for some people just to tear things up... especially with no good reason. Im guessing its a male testosterone inspired macho type thing or something. And Ive noticed more and more videos showing this type of stuff... makes me worry even more for our future.

I know the old 400 wasnt worth much, but hey, they coulda just sent it to me! i woulda even have paid the shipping! maybe we should start a home for wayward old atari stuff? :-)

I did that about three years ago. I think I need a larger home...

What the hell with this kind of people!!!! (off course the people inside the video)
This video hurts a lot!!!

I think POKEY and ANTIC chips could be saved.

Ahh, today's youth. Pretty sad. Wonder where that is, there might be a few good IC's left.

On a side note, when I posted something similar about these animals smashing a 2600 in the 2600 forum, I was immediately flamed by two members.

2600 collectors are fanatical about their Ataris.

This is quite a coincidence, I spotted that video on youtube a coupla days ago.

It's such a waste of a classic system, and that's one less out there. I think people who do this are just really sad, and I'm not just saying that because it's an A8. I mean seriously how old are they? They should be going out getting girls at their age, not smashing things up outside. Really sad.

Looks like a bunch of spoiled little momma's boy yuppie offspring to me..

If you wanna get them back, make an equivelant video of some 80s headbangers smashing the crap out of a
lowered 2004 honda civic with a custom paint job, 20 inch wheels, and a "fuckin sweet" sound system... Oh, and a big chrome tailpipe..

Yeah, I also found the clip rather boring. That 400 sure stood up to the bashing better than an XL or XE. Wonder what that poor machine did to those boys anyway?

Hey Ross PK, what happened to your 'laid up in cuzy burnin' a bowl' avatar? hehe
