$50 bucks, but wow! What a great compilation of video games from the earliest days to 1984! There were so many beautiful pictures of games, Atari and otherwise in it!

A couple of the cool things I saw was that they used an article by Keita Iida on the 5200 (and probably more stuff too) and there was a picture of the VCSp in the back! Wow!

If I had $50 and no wife, I'd have this book in my hands right now. (sigh) Everyone should take a look at it.

Here's the Amazon Link: http://www.amazon.co...1401602-5947965

I think I paid like $35 when it first came out thru Amazon. Sometimes you can order online and use a discount coupon.

Good Book!

Great photographs and contributing writers in a book that chronicles the history of gaming up to the Golden Age. A must read.

Holy crap - a zombie thread come back to life after 7.5 years...
I've seen some threads started up again after long gaps but this one must be a record.

HaHA - I was bored yesterday. I had a few lull hours before a network upgrade that I needed to kill.

Jeez, my son wasn't even born when I posted that! Now he's six years old and in first grade!

If I bought the book today, I have no idea where I'd put it. My house has become the gigantic pile that cleaners forgot...
