Hi Guys

here is the new verion of "XEVIOUS INSANE"

I changed the following.

- added ufos

- changed the players graphic

- added spider robot

- some minor graphic changes at some enemies

Hope you enjoy it.

greetings gambler172

I just tried it on my CC2. All I get is lines across the screen. The last version worked so I'm guessing you broke something.

So this is what you use?

Xevious - 7800 XEV78 HSC_32K HSC

Xevious Insane - 7800 XEVIN78 HSC_32K HSC

Maybe Mitch can try it when he gets a chance.

Try this one.

The reason it doesn't work on an NTSC 7800 is because it doesn't have a valid authentication signature.

About the game; I also get the flickering on the screen borders at the top portion of the screen. I also occasional have a problem with the shooting sound getting stuck on for a second or so.

By the way, is this a hack of the PAL version of Xevious or the NTSC version?

Hi Mitch

this is a hack of the NTSC version. But for testing,i use my 7800 PAL system.

The game itself is NTSC.And when putting it to my CC2,i have no problems.

I have no problems with sound, when playing.

Hi

here is a new update of Xevious Insane

I added T-Fighters from Star Wars and changed the other enemies a little bit.I also changed the players ship a little bit.Does anyone have an idea for a better Players ship sprite, which i could implement in the game.

Any other ideas and sugestions are welcome too.

greetings gambler172 :)

Here's a signed copy of the latest version as well as an A78 copy.

Walter, I'm still seeing the screen flickering and having the occasional sound freeze issue but I've noticed it only happens when there are a large amount of objects near the top of the screen.
