The developer manual lists several things I have not had access to:

ANAJOY (Analog joystick sample with source)
3DJAZ source code (May not have been released as source?)
"Jaws," "Escape," and "Future" samples in cinepak folder.

I do have an Escape file named "Esc6.crg" but the docs mention "Esc13.crg" as well, which I do not have.

If you have more complete development tool archives, I may be missing other things.

Hello MegaData,

none of the DevKit-packages i have (one TOS- and two PC-based) does have the mentioned stuff,
but here are some notes:

I got it once from Doug Engel, but the source and the binary had an up-to-date timestamp,
so i won't forward it. But i wrote my own example which you can find on my Jaguar-webpage.

3DJAZ source code (May not have been released as source?)

Don't have it, i am not even sure that i do have the binary. Searching "3DJAZ" didn't give any result on my harddisc.

I do have an Escape file named "Esc6.crg" but the docs mention "Esc13.crg" as well, which I do not have.

I got all my Cinepak-stuff from Glenn Bruner (atarifan49), so i would suggest that you speak directly with him.
But in the archive i got from him the mentioned Esc13.crg is missing as well (although the README.TXT
describes it as you already said). And i don't have the "Jaws" and "Back to the Future"-stuff either,
i am not sure if they are for use in RAM or only for use with CD (--> too big to spread).

It's possible that all these mentioned things were spread via the developers-BBS Atari run at that time, and therefore never found their way into the floppy-disc-sets which are floating around.

Matthias

Thanks for the response. Good to see some people check out the Jaguar Programming section here! :)

I'll have to check into your Analog program. I thought I saw everything you had on your site, but it has been a while since I really looked...

3DJAZ should be found in JAGUAR\DEMOS\3d_jaz.cof ...with an underscore for anyone doing an automated search.

The Cinepak files sound like they came on a CD sampler from what I read in the manual. From the notes on resolution and film duration, "Escape" is the same resolution with a longer duration than "Future." That one should fit into RAM. However, "Jaws" is a full second long whereas the other two are half a second. It would be interesting to see if that one fits, but it sounds possible. I'd like to know for sure.

It's probably my fault, i just have no real structure on my website.

Ok, found it. But it seems Atari has spread it only in a zip-file together with the readme-file, but without source (or libs).

Bye!

I downloaded your Analog program and I found out I do have an "Anajoy" program from the Jaguar Development Club CD StarCat originally released. I just never installed it from the CD before.

Unfortunately, as soon as I found one, I have now found that I do not have the help file for the ArtWork program, artwork.hlp

This helpfile is probably lost, it's neither in the RAR-archive Starcat provided, nor in the (probably) original ZIP-archive i have.

I could create one if I knew how to format window size in HelpWriter. I've basically made one but I want to lock the size it was created for.

Matthias, did you ever get around to messing with the code I sent you for the dual axis DSP encoder
reader? It works rather smashingly with a CX-22 track ball.

No, i didn't, sorry. But you know: I even don't use my own rotary-code in any project.

Kind regards
Matthias
