I know ;) My final bid was going to be 50.01, but had a knock at the front door...

Next time...

Thank god for whoever knocked at your door... My bid was $50.06 :D I done saved $21.06... End bid was $29 (shipping was a bit rich at $14 but it came packaged well and fast so I'm not too upset about it)

It's been awhile since I purchased any Atari stuff, but I couldn't pass these two items up.

SCORE!!! (and cheap, too, from further reading in the thread)

I've never SEEN the package for the MIDImate. I have a loose one (disks and manuals) somewhere.

I've got a few things listed that have been laying around my house. I'm not really a PC collector, more of a console base collector. hopefully this stuff will be useful to someone.

$15 for an Atari Catalog. What a fool, am I. I have all the others, and have been looking for this one for a long time. Some ebay seller lists this once in a while for like $40, so I had to have it! I had all of these catalogs when I was a kid, and I can pretend I'm 10 when looking at 'em.

Oh my! These should be like $2 or $3 each, at the local store. I tried every local store (Wah-mah, Target, Kmart, etc) and nobody had 'em. I had to have 'em, to hang on the wall of the gaming room. Believe it or not, this was the cheapest on Ebay. It looks like something straight out of The 40-Year-Old Virgin. Shhhh! Don't tell anybody!!!

I just got my first Atari 7800!!!! (from the AA marketplace) It came with one controller. I can't believe all the used controllers for sale on Ebay, for more money than these. I wanted to (and in fact just did) send these to AA user Yurkie - for ball mods. It's definitely not the most comfortable controller; what were they thinking???? I figured if I'm sending controllers for mods, may as well start with brand new ones (rather than polish a turd), especially when you can get them this cheap. These controllers were the only good deal of the three!

Adios!

Finally got my hands on a 800XE!!! My collection of production models is finally complete! ... Question, will it work with a North American power supply?

So now I learn that there were two versions of the flat packaging for the Zorks. I had assumed that only Zork I came in wide and the next two came in narrower packages. Now to find Zork II in flat and wide!

I've had an 800XE for a couple of years now - the 1200XL was my holy grail until I finally got one. :) The 800XE works just great with a US power supply and I got a multi-standard flat panel TV/monitor from 220 Electronics (currently our main TV as our CRT/VCR unit died).

They're so hard to find, I'd like to use it for a possible trade. PM me if you think you have something. :)

I probably don't have anything that you don't have already :)

Did you see the disk version too?
