Does anyone have a Dreamcast and has tried to play light gun games (either NES or SMS) using the DC light gun? If it works, I am going to buy one, but I'd like to know for certain before I buy the gun since that's basically the only reason I'd want one. Cheaper to buy a light gun for the DC than Chiller for NES.
So I got back into gaming and collecting in this silly hobby, but with a different twist. Instead of going after carts or systems readily available through good emulation, I'm trying to cover unique grounds that can't be emulated. So I want to have a light gun station with a CRT TV ready to go, but I'm wondering if we have any experts on here in regards to light guns in the 16-bit era. I'm in Canada and a Super Scope 6 and Menacer will run me pretty high with shipping when competing with American bidders, so I was wondering if there are any other light guns that play the same games as the much bigger guns? I know there is the Justifier for Genesis, which would be cheaper to ship, but is it compatible with the Menacer cartridge? I know there are some weird NES-like zapper guns with 9 pin connectors out there (eBay Auction -- Item Number: 170808837615), but I don't trust it to work with the Genesis stuff. If so that'd be really cool because they're super cheap for shipping. Think it'd work?
Are they reliable? I have never ordered from them before, but can't remember if I've seen anyone share their experiences with them or not. And the infernal search on the forum won't recognize the "." so I can't find any matches. Just curious if anyone can share an experience or two.
