The official Automation menus release (in sequential format)

Sat Apr 14, 2012 12:54 AM

Hello,

Since the progress on the Automation DVD has been really slow and we'd like to release the content while people still remember Automation or the Atari ST in general, we thought we'd better get started!

For those who wonder why we should do a thing like that in the first place: Firstly, there are a LOT of bad dumps of Automation menus floating around the internet which the games don't work (when of course it's not the emulators' fault!). Secondly, we do plan to have some exclusive content in the DVD. Lastly, it's nice to have something "official", right? :)

Anyway, to get to the point, we're going to release each menu in sequential format, starting from 0 and going all the way to 512. However, the condition to release a menu will be that at least one of the games in that menu gets reviewed. We'll try to do as many as we can, but if you think you can help, feel free to join in!

Here's when the action will take place, please read the full announcement and rules first.

Thank you for your time!

D-Bug site news!

Sun Jan 22, 2012 11:57 AM

You might have seen some weird things happening the last few days, we're sorry but we've all been terribly busy. But now that we're mostly done we can make a public announcement:

We have moved servers yet again! So what does it mean to you?

- Better speeds!
- The base URL has changed slightly: It's now http://dbug.kicks-ass.net/ instead of http://dbug.kicks-ass.net/dbug/
- The RSS feed link has changed to http://dbug.kicks-ass.net/rss.php (only Chrome still seems not to like it but since W3C's feed validator says it's ok, Chrome can go **** off :))
- The forum URL remains the same.
- http://dbug.atari.org redirector has also been fixed.

We're still fixing up dead links from the site, but they're so many of them we might miss a few! Contact us if you want something that points to a bad link!

Many thanks to Linkvitch of U-235 for the gracious providing of web space and stuff :)

Oh, and as a gift to all you that bore with us, here's Roller Coaster Rumbler all fixed up and ready to run from your machines' hard drives :).
