So this is something I've been working off and on for a few months. It's still quite buggy & incomplete. Heck, I still don't even have barely anything for artwork on it.
Anyone good at compositing/drawing Transformers artwork?

Mini-PAC board for hyperpin cab?
Wed Dec 7, 2011 11:41 AM
So I'm slowly building a wannabe Hyperpin cabinet.
Is the Mini-PAC board sufficient enough to get buttons on a cabinet going? I don't see why not, but want to make sure. You plug the board in via USB, and hook up buttons to the wiring harness to the board, and done? If so, I'm going to order one.

Chip's Challenge clone for TI?
Mon Dec 5, 2011 1:35 PM
Yeah! I downloaded Chipper's Challenge for android, and quickly loved the tile-based puzzle-solving gaming.
How hard would some mutation of this game be on the TI? For added challenge, use only 8x8 pixel tiles. The screen-updating might take a toll on performance, but I wouldn't see it to be impossible.
And please, handicaps! Like turning off timer option. Or, for the really crazy, an undo move option. heh.

Anyone have a broken PEB they want to offload?
Tue Nov 29, 2011 2:58 PM
So I have a perfectly working PEB downstiars, but just don't have the heart to gut it to use as a modern PC case .Anyone gong to Midwest Gaming Classic, and have a PEB that's nonworking they would part with for free or cheap? I want to follow through someday on my "modern PC in a retro case" idea. Sure, purists will hate it, but I gotta do it! And then see how many parts I can re-use like the power cord connector. Heck, the drive bays are compatible!
Video game hw in the dishwasher!
Fri Nov 11, 2011 1:50 PM
So, an idea. What could be put in the dishwasher to clean up really dirty hardware?
Could I take plastics from the Colecovision or the cv 1 module 1 & toss 'em in? If it means re-gluing the front metal bezel thing, that's fine. Alcohol & swabs only go so far.
Heck, I have a tiny video game controller I got from Taiwan where it was sticky on the surface. Every method I tried to clean it up(goof off, wd40, boiling hot water) would not clean it. My fingernails were more effective.
Any ideas?
