In Topic: SIO2SD Boot Error

The default setting of SIO2SD is to select and load files/disks with buttons and LCD screen.
This is very nice because you can do a lot of things, even make ATRs, without having to turn off the computer.

But to mount disks or load files it's easier to use the on-screen loader.
To do this on every boot, a simple setting needed to be changed.

Anyhow, USA bust, Europe bust, how come they're saying , Germany the financial powerhouse?

Any country which isn't bankrupt?
Switzerland. But we are part of Europe and part of world too.
If world busts, we'll have big problems too.

  • Both sprites used to draw screen, so there's less flicker
  • Fixed problem where ship could be invisible for 4 seconds after coming out of hyperspace
  • ship takes longer to slow to a stop
  • fixed problem where ship could start moving left/right by itself
  • a number of revisions to asteroid movement
Note: if Left Difficulty is set to A the score will show diagnostic info

ROMs - Harmony or Stella1
Attachment spacerocks20120513_NTSC.bin
Attachment spacerocks20120513_PAL.bin

1 Requires Stella ver 3.5 or later. See first post for instructions on how to reduce flicker.

Impressive!

Perhaps ship's explosion sound should be louder.

If you want to run all existing software you have two solutions:

1 If you have and want a PC always near to your Atari you can
- buy SIO2PC (AtariAge user classics, $60) and use it with APE Windows application (SIO2PC USB/serial version) or SIO2OSX Mac application (SIO2PC serial version)
- buy SIO2PC-USB (AtariAge user sloopy, $30-45) and use it with AspeQt Windows application

Philsan you have forgotten me, I am so deeply sad now :_(. Seriously though, I have so far built and sold around 50 SIO2PC / 10502PC hardware. So far only RS232 versions, but check out my announcement soon for a USB edition.... I build these individually so I am not a volume seller, after all it's all for the hobby and I am glad I have the time and means to do it.
I am so sorry. :dunce:
