It's been a while since I posted anything here, so I thought I'd share a mini game I was working on recently. It's a simple clone of the popular game Snake. Every 30 points, a new round starts with an increased snake speed. I still need to add sound effects and change the color of the score, otherwise it's pretty much done.

I started working on a Wonder Boy (AKA Adventure Island) clone a couple weeks ago, I thought I'd share this little demo
The graphics are placeholders, of course. Physics are also terrible at the moment. The kernel currently supports:

Wickeycolumbus' Blog > Adventure 1K update
Posted 19 April 2010
I had some time to work on Adventure 1K, here is an updated version.
Updates:
* playfield is green
* object graphics changed
* two rooms
* gate opening animation
* collision detection between player and walls
* multiple bug fixes
It still needs a bit of work, but I think it can fit into 1K.

Wickeycolumbus' Blog > Vong gets a rating!

Looks like allgame gave Vong a rating!
It was rated 3.5/5 ("Very good" according to their scale), not bad for a 2K game written in a couple months by someone my age
