As always, you're welcome to incorporate any and all of the library functions I've written and put into the public domain. I've got code for reading the ECS keyboard and synth, for example, that you can take any time.

So will this Space patrol be only available at CGE? or will you have some available after the event for those os us unable to get there?

When I say "for CGE", I mean simply "in time for CGE." I'm using it as a deadline to have everything ready, and will make available what I can after the event. I'm not limiting myself to the folks who can make it to CGE. :-)

I've always just used the right sized flat blade screwdriver to get these open. Of all the things I use that require security bits, never saw that triangular Intellivision styled bit for sale. Never looked very hard for 'em either I guess. You try digikey or Mouser yet?

I'm in the "right sized flat head" department myself. I bought a huge kit of "Security Bits" once, and it didn't have the triangle either. A small enough "hex" head though also seems to work, from what I recall.

Seriously?!!! That's awesome news. Are you talking about a re-release of the original or a new Super Space Patrol? Maybe I need to go to Vegas..... :)

My hope is to release a significantly upgraded Space Patrol for CGE. I also have some original edition copies that I couldn't sell before (I ran out of boards, but I still have boxes) that I will also make available for folks that want both. If I don't have the upgraded version complete by CGE, I'll still probably be in a position to give a demo of where I'm at and start taking down a list of who's interested. I definitely think everyone will like what I have in store.

If I send a package to the USA with tracking and put the tracking code into the UK post office site it only ever tells me it got to a processing facility in the USA. However, if I then put the same tracking code in the USPS website's parcel tracker I get much more detailed information and can see several hops across the country. Maybe that approach would work with other destination countries too? Unfortunately I've no idea how standardised the tracking codes are between countries.

I don't recall having problems with anything I shipped from the USA. European orders shipped from Germany, though, which made things even more interesting. ;-)
