I have already decided I am not in favor of Sony's business plan regarding the NGP/Sony Vita. So you pay MORE for a version to pay more money to AT&T which will charge you more if you go over the alloted amount of data in your plan? How much data do you think will be using while playing online? Quite a lot. These exclusivity deals piss me off something fierce.

Gammon........treating online companies like a bank is your first and most fatal flaw. Online companies have "policies" but who is to say they are following said policies. Reagan said "Trust but verify", I would suggest "Verify beforehand and check periodically". And to answer your question posed in the title, YOU (the individual) is responsible. Anyone that thinks otherwise is shirking their responsibility as a citizen.

I picked up Fortresscraft, it is 240 M$ points for "Chapter 1: Creation". If you want a creative outlet to build an 8-bit like block style world, then this is for you. It does allow multiplayer, up to four people right now it will allow more people in the future. If building a world doesn't really interest you, then I would suggest waiting a while for later chapters. Later chapters will include the original world building aspect and other perks such as enemies, physics, machines, etc. If you buy the first Chapter, you will still have to buy the following chapters for those additions, they will not just be updates. But future Chapters will be stand alone and not require the previous chapters.
Zeptari- as for your son's world being destroyed, that is a known bug. Everytime you Join another person's world it deletes your saved world. A work around is to Copy (not Move) the save game onto a different memory card or USB stick after you are done building, then when you are done playing multiplayer exit the game and copy your saved world back. I think this major bug is addressed in a patch that is coming as soon as 4/17.
Also, remember that as with all Indie games you MUST be connected to XBox live just in order to play the game, even if you don't want to play multiplayer. (I know I sound like a broken record, but it is an important fact to be reminded of)

Completely off topic, but I love your new avatar Jetset (I recently went to see Spamalot). And now for something completely different.

I'm already sold. I don't even care if this is 400 or even 560 points (for an Indie game that is a lot), I'll get it as soon as it comes out. The only draw back is you will HAVE to be signed in to XBox Live to play it. That means if your internet goes down or in the far future when XBox Live is no longer supported, you won't be able to play. Too bad they won't polish it up and release it as a full blown XBLA game.
