Oem nes ac adapters require a #8 spanner bit to open. I got one at ace hardware for less than $2. Id be proactive and check it out.

I was considering this for the digital postal scale I just bought that only runs on 3 batteries. Should I be concerned about output amps, or am I ok with any output over a certain level?

thanks for the input everybody (even dirty furby comments). I was thinking I'd set my cap around $40 so I'll feel pretty good if I can get it for that. I'll have to see how negotiable they are.
