Looking for a modded/chipped PS1 in good working condition with one (or two) controllers, a/v cable and power cable. I am not keen on the whole mod chip thing when it comes to the PS1 as I have never delved into it, but it must be an NTSC unit and able to play any NTSC backup. If anyone has one of these, please PM. Thanks!
Well, since I have been out of the PS3 game for some time (and have tons of DLC attached to an account I have had with PSN since 2006) I decided to try to get a cheap PS3 on ebay just to log back in and get my stuff. I ended up scoring a PS3 60GB original unit for $200, that appeared to be perfect in the auction. Well, that arrived smashed in one corner. You would think it happened in shipping, but the guy used so much bubble wrap and with no outside box damage...no...he sent it to me this way. Anyway, tried to communicate it with him and he "offered" $75 off. I don't think so. I filed a dispute and he will be getting back his trash in a few days.
So, I decided to avoid ebay entirely. Something I should have done to start with. I decided to purchase a new PS3 slim 320GB model (with the free Drake game) and was convinced that Sears would be the place to get it, from my wife who has a Sears card and wants the Sears "points". Ok, whatever....I go and they have two in stock. I come home with the first one, and the HDMI port is DEAD. It just will not function. So, I go back and they make an "exception" and exchange it...claiming they usually do not allow exchanges on game consoles. Are you kidding me? I had owned it for two hours! I exchanged, got a "good" one, and figured all was said and done.
I spent yesterday re-downloaded all of my goodies. Lemmings, Echochrome, Stardust...and the other 75 titles I have not played in over two years. I was on my glory. I finished up, shut it down for the night, and went to work today. Came home tonight and powered it on to be greeted with "HD is corrupt" message and telling me to press "x" to recover. I did that..and it reboots and boots back to the same message. Spoke with Sony and they had me go into safe mode and reformat the device...still the same deal. They finally gave me the option to send it back for repair.
No way. There is no way in hell I am sending back a console for repair that is not even 24 hours old. Needless to say, Sears is going to have a fight on their hands tomorrow.
What the HELL is going on with the quality of devices lately? I never had these types of issues in the past. Well, I mean I understand things happen....but has quality control become so shoddy? Screw it...I am done buying modern consoles.
Sorry to vent, but I had to get it off of my chest. I love the PS3 (or I should say, I loved my OLD PS3) and now with such a bad taste in my mouth I just find it very difficult to trust again. Shame to, as I purchased some MORE games when I logged back in, as well as a PS+ subscription!
Well, here goes. I purchased the Prime on 2/3/12 from Best Buy Online, and got it out of a stroke of luck. Anyone who knows about this tablet, well knows these are hard to come by. They sell out minutes after they are listed in most online locations. Tablet came in, perfect condition. No dead pixels or anomalies. It is just great. Next I purchased the keyboard dock for it, another hard to find item. I purchased a three pack of quality screen protectors and applied one to it. I purchased a brand new PNY 32GB microSDHC card (didn't even take this out of the box yet), I purchased a case that hold the tablet and dock combined, and a folio case for the tablet alone that is actually in the mail to me as I type.
Only problem is, I don't use it. I owned the Playbook before this and use it daily. I guess I just cannot get used to the larger size of a 10 inch tablet. I dunno. I just feel that I wasted $900 on something that I just am not going to use.
So, it is up for grabs (the whole lot). I know people are online now charging up the tail for this device, but I am not at all about that. I just want to recover what I had spent:
$499 (Tablet)
$149 (Dock)
$49 (32GB microSDHC)
$50 (both cases)
$15 (three high quality screen protectors, one already perfectly applied to the unit)
Total (before taxes) was $762. After taxes and shipping I was at near $900.
I'm looking for $775 total for the whole lot shipped and insured anywhere in the USA. The tablet and dock are MINT, literally unused other than the ICS and firmware update. All boxes and items are included of course. You will get it all in no less than brand new condition. One screen protector is again applied to the Prime (and I did a good job too!) and two others are sealed, new. The 32GB microSDHC is new sealed. The case that holds both tablet and dock attached is a Logitech, and the folio case (which is in the mail, if you purchase now I will send this over to you in a separate package) are new. The tablet and dock BTW are the amethyst grey models, tablet is the 32GB model.
Anyone interested? I know some will want pics and I will get these up, unless of course someone wants it before I do this
I am giving AA members the opportunity to purchase the last of my homebrew console collection before they are ebay'd. Unfortunately I have no pictures right now (I am at work currently), but I will try to do this over the weekend. Rest assured my descriptions of the items are as accurate as possible. Well, here goes:
White Caanoo console with all packaging, Jelly Case, pre-applied screen protector, 32GB SDHC card, Buffalo low profile USB wifi adapter, TV out cable:
The system is in *mint* condition. Even the screen protector was applied perfectly. I could not do it better if I tried The 32GB SDHC card is full with goodies (PNY brand card) and the wifi adapter works perfectly with the unit and is MUCH more doable than the official monster adapter that GPH sells. I have all packaging, cables, baggies, manuals, cd...everything in literally new condition. $200 takes the whole bundle, shipped.
Yep, sealed, unopened box. I purchased two and put one away...almost completely forgot I had it. This is no longer in production and finding it new can be a challenge. Selling for what I paid, minus shipping - $150 shipped.
I have two of these handhelds. One has had the thumhbstick replaced with a more comfortable model that I believe DaveC from gp2xforums made for us years ago. The other is a stock F100 (version 2). Both are in excellent condition with little or zero scratches (I can't see any). $75 shipped each
The white model with the touchscreen. This is MINT. I actually purchased this new as well, opened the box, applied a screen protector, and put it back in the box. It has literally 2 minutes of playtime. The packaging, all cables and materials are here of course. In my experience this is the most difficult model to find nowadays. $130 shipped.
GP32 NLU, 128MB SM card, SM USB reader, USB adapters:
I purchased this along with a 128MB card, reader and USB adapters (bought two, one for spare) in order to hook the system up to the computer and get freeloader on the machine. Needless to say, I did not find the time and never did it. The unit has some scuffs on the screen, but is still in nice shape and works great. $75 shipped.
After getting ready for my move and fishing through my storage, I found some things I thought I sold...but I guess not The items are still in my storage facility, so if you require pictures, it'll have to wait for the weekend sometime. For now I'll add the items and prices. Rest assured the items are exactly how I describe them, and feel free to check my feedback rating here if you have any doubts:
1. BRAND NEW Wiz console. Yes, sealed, never opened. I purchased this when it came out. I actually purchased two of these. One to use and one to keep sealed. This is the new sealed one. Not much to say about it. It is new, sealed, never touched (except for GPH manufacturing I suppose!) Selling it for what I paid - $150
2. White Caanoo console with pre applied screen protector (I applied it and it went on perfectly..could not do this again if I tried!), official jelly case, and low profile Buffalo wifi adapter (much better than the stock adapter...barely sticks out of the unit and works great), all packaging for everything (including CD, 4GB games SDHC, etc) It is in *mint* new condition. - $130 for the set
3. GP32 NLU - The original GP32! Comes with two USB adapters (these are HARD to find), SMC USB reader, and 128MB SmartMedia card. The device is in great shape but does have some light screen scratches. Nothing that you can see when it is on however. A really nice condition, very rare and cool device! - $80 for the set
4. Dingoo A320 - Mint A320 pre-loaded with goodies. Comes with everything (box, cables, etc) as well as an official Dingoo carry case and a Transcend 4GB MiniSD card (these are hard to find now as well). Zero scratches and the unit had probably about 20 minutes of play time in its life - $100 for the set
