What you say about auctions and market value makes sense, I just don't do ebay. I don't care for their fee structure, and products always sell for less than I can get at other places or at retail. At least for the more run of the mill stuff. If I had something super rare/unique, I think it's a good venue for that - like stuff in the $500-2500 range. Anything over $2500, I'd probably use a proper live auction house like Christie's or Heritage.

I'm towards the Philadelphia end. I don't sell on ebay, so not an issue there.

The reason why you take it with a grain of salt on the S. American prices is due to the shipping timeframes and hassles of trying to direct import from S. America. Plus the potential for customs to tear open the plastic to inspect the product. And the potential shadiness of buying anything in S. America.

That's all I was saying.

My reputation is solid. Prices are relative, and what seems like "way too much" in WI may seem "way too cheap" in other areas like New York or metro Philadelphia.

I gotcha - so they're not actually an R7. That makes more sense. Any estimates of how big the "flood" of them actually is. I don't see all that many for sale at the moment - just the odd ebay listing from S. America currently, and that's about it.

I guess we disagree on value then, no biggie. A google search in products only brings up a loose cart for $66 (which is obviously overpriced, but still), and an incorrect ebay listing for Anticipation on the NES.

Going directly to ebay only brings up 1 sealed, for $33 including shipping, but it's located in South America. Which you have to take with a grain of salt if you're trying to compare it to the US market.

And then there's the one on Gamegavel for $30. But I regularly find gamegavel prices to be below retail as well.

My instinct is to price it at $59.99 and call it a day. I can always reevaluate at a later point. It's easier to lower a price than to raise one. JMHO as a vintage game retailer for the past 2 years.
