Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom for NES

An early example of crappy movie tie-in games. It's practically unplayable because of the glitchy controls.

Hey Bob,

Been out of the loop for a bit. Are you still taking orders on this? Also, am I right in assuming this game's only XM compatibility is the HSC? I seem to recall you mentioning you were using the Tia for sound since it wasn't too elaborite. Thanks!

I have to say, that the massive third sentence of this paragraph of Mr Warshaw's blog post made me grin.

"Why did they send me the script? Well, it turns out I’m actually IN the movie. So they figured since I’m a real person and I’m in the movie and I’m actually me and they wanted to use me as me in the actual movie and I didn’t even know yet that I was me in the movie although I did know I was me but I didn’t know I was in the movie, they had better let me know that I was in the movie as me and let me see if after I knew I was me playing me in the movie that I would be okay with being me in the movie as myself now that I knew there was actually a movie with me in it. Maybe that’s too much legalese, but that’s what movies are all about."

Good Gravy this game is popular. I played it on Prosystem a bit. Seems like a fantastic port.

Never heard of the game personally, but then I was fairly young and poor when it was in the arcades.
