Messanger conversation ordering

Thu Jan 19, 2012 3:10 AM

Hi,
I may be being dense but haven't been able to spot a setting to do this, thought it may be something that can be tweaked server side possibly?

Basically what I am after would be the option to view PM conversation threads in reverse order to how they are right now, so the most recent posts appear 1st in the thread. Reason being that if I am involved in a lengthy thread of 2-3 pages (lazy I know :) ) its a bit of pain having to either flick through n pages to get to the end and then scroll to the end, or entering the page number and scroll to the end.

Is there any way an option could be added or already present to reverse the display order of PM threads?

Thanks

U-235 SoundEngine released!

Wed Dec 7, 2011 2:45 PM

Finally here :) This is a Beta release, there are things that I am not 100% happy with, but then I am apparently never happy with my code :D

So, want a full featured, supported, DSP Sound Engine for your project? for free ?

Check it out http://www.u-235.co.uk/se/index.php

Feedback and bug reports welcome, I have a list of things to do on this as long as my arm already so keep checking back for new updates and releases.

Big huge thanks to the other guys of U-235 and also to the chaps of Reboot and Jagware, excellent help, ideas and hints throughout as well as some top laughs! Cheers guys.

New sound engine coming soon

Tue Nov 22, 2011 5:07 PM

Hi,
At e-Jagfest this weekend I demo'd my new Sound Engine. It is entirely RISC code and lives in the DSP. It offers 8 channel audio, each channel can have its volume and pitch controlled and adjusted independantly, handles looped samples etc.

I didn't quite have time to finish the release package and example code in time, so I am still polishing those up before I release the current beta version. (Still a few bits I am not 100% happy with :) ), but it is still being worked on never fear!

I am going to make this available as KudosWare, that is completely free to use in your projects as long as the U-235 SoundEngine is mentioned in the project itself.

The engine and all the necissary details will appear on our site U-235 ..

Until it is out there (should only be a week or so), I have made a youtube video of the e-jagfest demo playing one of the tunes..

I'll keep you posted...

ReplayExpo 2011 screen

Thu Nov 10, 2011 3:59 AM

Whilst at ReplayExpo at the weekend, I was trying to show that Jaguar coding was still alive and not impossible with my (sh3's) trusty SkunkBoard...

So over the course of 8 hours in a noisy event hall with stuff going on and cute cosplayers and gamer girls wandering around I threw together a quick simple screen.

It is running with the Jag in 640x400 interlace mode, playing a 4 channel tracker mod at 28.8kHz (entirely in DSP, not using sinister player). The code for the scroller, fading and sprite movement was all written by myself at the event, hence it's not perfect and a bit ropey :D

I have uploaded the video to YouTube so people can have a watch.. I'll be uploading the actual screen binary to our website at some point soon (when I get a minute :D )..

Nothing too impressive, but hopefully something to read and some nice music :D

e-Jagfest UK -> Germany bus

Mon Sep 19, 2011 2:42 AM

This is still planned to happen, however I have had very very little in the way of confirmations from people wanting to go. If you would like to join us on our road trip to Germany, drop me a PM ASAP. If you leave it too late (IE after we have booked crossing tickets etc) it will be tough.

If you want to go to this rather excellent Jagfest show in Germany (Nov 19th) let me know. If you have general questions, ask here in this thread so everyone can benefit from them.
