I Won A Genny For $1.04 - Now the Seller Is Trying To Back Out
Sat Jan 21, 2012 6:14 PM
I won a Sega Genesis for $1.04 early Friday morning.
He sent this email to me after I won the item:
I called him up and I was like what are you talking about all I have to do is give you cash and we're done.
The seller is local to me and he keeps making a big deal out of me paying cash for the system and saying "how will eBay know that the transaction took place?"
I've bought a bunch of arcade cabinets off of eBay and paid cash for every one of them. I don't get what the big deal is.
I called him twice: once yesterday afternoon and today. Both times he mentioned the "how will eBay know that the transaction took place" spiel and says he'll call me back because he was out somewhere but never does.
What do you guys think I should do?

holy crap. lol. you won it for 1.04. lmao. cool. I am a man of my word. I will refund your money. shipping was 15.00 plus 1.04= 16.04. Ebay and paypal will take 11.9% +.3 of that total value which is 3.25 total for you meaning i will refund you $12.79. Is there another way to do it other than that? You can call me my number is nnn.nnn.nnnn
