Original box only for Commodore SX-64

Thu Feb 2, 2012 11:32 PM

I have a spare original box for a Commodore SX-64... like the box shown in my picture here http://www.geekvinta...odore-sx-64.php

These are few and far between... Asking $70 shipped. I will pack the box in another box instead of slapping a shipping label on it like the guy I got it from did.

The box is in extremely good shape with the exception of one of those plastic packing slip stickers the last owner put on it when he shipped it to me. If you want pics, let me know, though they are pretty bland boxes as you can see from the other photo.

This is for the box only, nothing else.

Does anyone know how to repair Commodore computers?

I'm scared to root around in the guts of vintage computers. A kid toasted one of my SX-64 computers... all I get is a blank screen now. :(

Does anyone here know how to troubleshoot and fix the problem? If so, I have no problem shipping the SX to you and paying for the service.

Had a blast last night!

Had a blast at a vintage game meeting last night and even met a guy who owns a vintage game shop I didn't know existed...

Going rate for Diner CIB

So what is the going rate for a CIB Diner cart? Damn Cmart has me wanting to try completing the original 125 and I figured I'd start with Diner.

Wanted: Atari 2600 Romscanner

Thu Jan 5, 2012 12:55 PM

My Romscanner is dead! Nooooooo!

In a freak accident in my wood shop, I managed to destroy my Romscanner... so I'm looking for a Romscanner to replace my trashed one. I could use my Videoplexer, but it just doesn't look as cool hooked up to my Vader. :P

I prefer CIB but a loose one is fine. I was about to buy a replacement at Atari2600.com but I saw that he doesn't have them anymore.
