This should be interesting. Super Pro auction w/Spiker

Mon Apr 30, 2012 7:25 PM

It looks like the details of this auction aren't quite finalized but whatever ends up being included this should still be fun to watch. For the price being asked, I'd want every Super Pro game in mint condition as well as the system.

Intellivision Demo and Test carts

Sun Mar 25, 2012 9:08 PM

Here's my Intellivision Demo and Test carts collection at the moment. There are a couple of variations of the test carts that I still need, but I think that's all the boxed Demo carts. The blue and white MTE 201 Test cart box is made by Alex Pace.
The International Demo cart box is amongst the coolest of all Intellivision collectibles in my books. :lust: This will show up soon in another thread I'm planning.

Intellivision Colour Manuals

Sun Mar 25, 2012 6:28 PM

I've been meaning to post pics of these for a while now, just been too busy with real life. :(

When Mattel first started releasing games they definitely did them up right, including with full multi-colour manuals. Ten games got the full colour manual treatment before the cost cutting began. They were: Las Vegas Poker and Blackjack, Las Vegas Roulette, NFL Football, NBA Basketball, Major League Baseball, Space Battle, Armor Battle, Math Fun, APBA Backgammon and Checkers. If I remember correctly, NHL Hockey was the 11th game released at the same time, not sure why it didn't warrant a full colour manual, maybe they thought all of us Canadians were colour blind and wouldn't know the difference. :-D

I really like these and wish that they had continued producing these in full colour. I think it makes a good and somewhat challenging collecting subset, particularly if you get them all in the "Made in the US" boxes, with the Keyboard Component reference in the text at the bottom of the front cover as those were the original release versions. Enjoy. I plan on posting more subset collections going forward as I finally get around to posting the full CMart collection pics.

PS. If anyone's interested in starting to collect these, I might have a couple extras lying around.

What kind of mod is this?

My complete Intellivision/Digiplay collection

Tue Jan 3, 2012 12:28 AM

HI guys, I thought I'd make my 2500th post count so here's some pics from my recently completed Digimed/Digiplay Intellivision collection. :)

To the best of my knowledge, after spending most of this year focusing on completing this part of my Intellivision collection, I believe this to be one of the few complete CIB Digiplay collections in North America and Europe. I spoke at length with Roger (Psychostormtrooper) about this stuff as he is one of the experts on these variations and had a complete collection himself at one point. He has since sold off all of his Intellivision stuff and I bought the last part of his collection which included 7 or 8 CD/DVD's of images including his Digiplay stuff. We were unable to determine with certainty whether a couple of titles that were shown on the INTV2/Digiplay2 box were in fact released as neither he nor I have come across them. With that said, if anything else is found, it'll be on my want list (there is another catalog I'm aware of), but until that time, here is what a complete CIB cartridge and systems collection looks like. Enjoy. The first shot is the original 30 games, the rest on the other shelves with the systems are duplicates. (The normal looking Intellivision boxes on the middle right shelf are Bandai Intellivision games, my 2012 collection goal. ;) )
