About Me
Hi there, I'm Jasper, I am new here and yes, I am younger than even the NES - but I love games and want to preserve and play them the way they were meant to be played. I started out with video games with a Sega Genesis/Sega CD back in 1995. I still have that system and still play it from time to time. I was heavily involved in the modern gaming scene for a while with World of Warcrack and the Halo series, but lately I have lost interest in finding the next game that will hook me for months; I want a game that will blow me away for 30 seconds, over and over, forever. Vintage games have that certain appeal, as I'm sure many of you will agree.
The thrill of the hunt also keep my enthusiasm strong - my current top find was a boxed Commodore 128, 1702 monitor, and 1571 disc drive +discs, for free to a good home. Well, I traded it for a minty Breadbox 64 and 1541 drive, for the certain aesthetic appeal, but it found a better home than that Woman's rotten basement.
If you are in the Portland metro area, you should PM me if you ever want to sell or trade! Thanks for welcoming me to Atariage!
