My name's Artlover.

I love computers, the internet, video games, and my dog Julie.

I enjoy hardware hacking. Ah, sillyscopes, logic probes, perfboard, the smell of freshly melted flux.

I like doing fabrication. Be it making my own game consoles cases or my own tools.

I like fixing things. Computers, consoles, electronics, appliances, autos. Anything that makes can excite and apply my technical/mechanical/diagnostic aptitude.

I like cartoons, scientific and discovery shows and crazy oddball stuff that most people never know about. Some of my favorites are: ATHF, SeaLab2021, Venture Bros, Drinky Crow, Robot Chicken, Lucy Daughter of the Devil, Secret Life of Machines, Mythbusters, The Universe, MXC, TV FunHouse, Wonder Showzen.

I don't like movies so much. Oh, I do like movies and have my list of favorites, but I hate and have a hard time tearing myself away from the computer or video games for 90-120 minutes to watch them. But some of the movies I like are: Scavenger Hunt, Juggernaut, North Sea Hijack, Midnight Madness, City Beneath the Sea, It's a Mad Mad Mad Mad World, CaddyShack, Johnny Mnemonic, Heavy Metal, Hardware, A Clockwork Orange.

I don't listen to music much unless I'm driving. I don't really have any favorites persay. Everything from classical to punk to urban to industrial. All depends on my mood. Right now I'm more into classic pop & urban: Run DMC, Davy DMX, The BarKays, Prince, Mantronix, UTFO, T La Rock, The Masterdon Commite, Chuck Stanley, The Beat Box Boys and the like. Nothing quite like the music of the 80's!

I spend most of my time trying to back up the internet, visiting web forums, playing video games, and playing with my dog.

I'm not good with dealing with people in general and try to keep to myself as much as possible. It's one reason I like forums such as these, as it's easier to say what you want and to make a point when you have the luxury of time in sitting back, writting, reading over a few times, editing, re-reading over a few times, till you get it right.

I don't like: stupidity, mis-information, lies, arrogant elitists, n00bz who expect to be spoonfed without making an effort, Jerry Lewis, Chris Hansen, everyone with a last name of Bush, people who don't like dogs, online gaming, DRM, RIAA, DMCA, The Patriot Act, Cults, XboxLive, NXE, bad herb, hookers who don't know how to give a BJ, stepping in dog shit, gas prices, food prices, the current economy, the current job situation, power failures, cable outages, speed traps, wireless game controllers, asshats, digital tv, heat, cold, fleas, pens that run out ink halfway in the middle of a word. I could write a book, so I'll stop now.
