Yo, Yeah, I don't really like doing the whole DD thing, but lately I've been finding myself swamped in movies that I'll probably never watch again, and often I buy them new, so I don't have an option of making the money back on them.
It sounds like Netflix gots a good deal, you can pay $12 (ish) a month and get all the movies you want for free basically, I think this would be advantageous to my pocket book in no short amount of time.
But, I got all kinds of stuff, I could run it on my computer on the go, or my 3DS (would I get to play 3D movies on there? that would be a good question too), at home I would likely run it on my Wii or Xbox...so
Basically, I want know from anyone who actually used it, can I just have one account and use it whichever system I happen to have at the time?

New games for 3DS
Sun Sep 18, 2011 3:29 PM
Damn this site is loading slow...or it may be me uploading videos to youtube...anyhow.
I got STarfox 64 3DS and Driver Renegade. Yeah, their cool, and nobody seems to have mentioned them. Don't tell me you've all given up on the 3DS. Oh, yeah...me too....
Anyhow, Starfox is, well,Strfox 64, with better graphics than the 64 version had. Some of the effects are awesome, like the reflection on the iceworld, pretty cool. The story is all there, and while I don't know all the secret locations and such, the ones I did remember appear to all be there, so I figure the game is all there. This has a multiplayered online mode, which I know nothing about, but that might be cool to mess with sometime. It also supports the gyro thing to let you steer the ship with the system, rather than the buttons. Maybe that will work for someone, but for me, it didn't to good. Mostly using it was a lesson in futility as you wildly flopped around. Anyhow the game is awesome, if you like starfox, pick it up, if you don't like it, uh...it's the same as the 64 with 3D graphics. Oh, speaking of 3D, this is one of the few games I've run into yet, that actually seems TO 3D. Kind of hard to explain, but when you get very close to objects, like ships (like a LOT of cutscenes) it seems that bits of it come apart rather than the smoother more natural 3D of other games.
And DRiver, yeah, it's basically Driver. There's no out of the car mode, and apparently, no freeroam mode (or even cops for that matter, boo, boo hiss) Anyhow, it's still a fun game, but it's not really my type of game, and IMO isn't worth the $40 price tag. If you got a rental shop, or find it cheap in game stop, it may be worth picking up...just don't expect it to hold you very long. The 3D efffect is really good, but the city scape is rather 2Dish (if that makes any sense) The deal is, almost everything is made of really flat boxy looking stuff. Your car looks awesome, as do enemy cars, and they take damage that looks cool, well, you take damage, the enemies just kind of "pop" when they hit something. The cutscenes are comic book style, adn those are 3D too, well, not 3D but have depth to them. Great looking there, and the story, while a bit cheesy is still cool. The dude's constant talking in the game will annoy you after a while though, some of it's funny, but after a while you hear it all and it just starts to grate on you, know what I mean? Anyhow, cool game, if I had it to do over, I would have waited till I found it for $20 or something, not a bad game, not great either though. Oh yeah, this game has taht EAPass bullshit, and probably some other anal raping crap too, just to let you know.

Question for Pokemon Black/White
Fri Aug 26, 2011 4:08 PM
Uh yeah, I got this game a while back, and now all my boxes of pokemon are full. I cameacross somewhere (rt14?) that said I should have 24 boxes so that I could get all million or so characters
but as near as I can tell, I still have the same 8 boxes topping out at 240 or so.
Anyhow, I was just wondering, is there something I'm supposed to do to get more boxes? I seem to remember this happening on one of the old games for like GBA or something (saying somewhere in the game that you had more boxes than you actually did) And at that point, it just lets go any extra's you catch.
Another thing, I seem to remember reading that if you transfer to another game, you can't transfer back to the first one? Anybody know about this before I get the other one and try to get the other half of the pokemons?1
Oh yeah, cool game, even if it is uber dated.
[edit- found the sign which reads:
Trainer Tips!
The maximum number of Boxes is now 24!
In other words, you can store
720 Pokemon! (no I don't know how the hell to put that little check over the e

Finished Ghost Recon Shadow Wars
Sun May 15, 2011 2:43 PM
It was totally awesome. I finished it just in time for my new battery to come in. The computer says it took me about 47 hours to complete the game, though I did play the skirmish and challenge missions, and a couple of the campaign games I screwed up and died on a few times, so I don't know how much of that is the actual game, but anyhow.
Awesome game. If you're a fan of Turn Based Strategy games, I'd say pick this one up. It's not quiet Advance wars, but IMO, at the moment it's the best 3DS game available.
I'm just starting again and upping the difficulty, you get to select any level you want once you beat it, so that's cool. Only downside, you don't get anything new once you beat the game, which may be a turnoff to some people, but I'm Ok with it.
Now I just need to find someone to play the multiplayered missions with.
As for the battery, it's, well, a battery
It adds to the thickness of the system just shy of a quarter inch or so, and honestly, I like it as much for that as anything. It makes the system more comfortable to hold IMO. It runs about twice what the old battery did,s o with everything turned on it'll run 5-6 hours. Much better over the original. Oddly, it takes no longer to charge than the original battery does...but then, maybe it came charged
I'll see after I charge it again.
Love the dock that came with it, it has a "power" button to turn it on and off
I guess so all the lights on it don't cause a brown out if you happen to turn your Xbox on at the same time
Only thing I didn't like, maybe it was just mine, but it seemed the battery was a bit hard to fit into the hole in the 3DS. Anybody else got one that had issues getting the back seated into the back of the system? Once I got it in, it was fine, but good grief.

3DS MP3
Mon Apr 11, 2011 4:41 PM
Maybe I*'m missing something, but in the instructions it says the 3DS supports MP3 format (and a few others) but it seems to me it makes no mention of how to get it to do so. I tried just putting a folder called MP# in there and some randome music, but yeah, it didn't work. There are two other folders, one is DCIM (picture folder, I assume, that's what's burried in there somewhere once you go far enough down
) and the other has a bunch of randome characters on it, didn't mean anything to me, but I assume that's where the save data and other such things are kept.
