SatanDisk and Mega STe

Thu May 3, 2012 9:54 PM

I am trying to use an original SatanDisk with my Mega STe. The MSTE has an internal hdd at id0, 344 megs.
I set (on another ST) the SatanDisk to ID7.

When I boot from the internal hdd hddriver (8.43) does not see the SatanDisk at all. As if it wasnt even hooked up. Only the internal drive is listed.

If I boot from the Hddriver floppy disk it sees the Internal drive and the SatanDisk. I can then create partions and use the drives together and they seem to work fine. I'm copying files between devices just fine.

So why am I forced to boot from a floopy to get the SatanDisk to work in this setup with my MSTE?

Bushido - ever released?

Sun Apr 22, 2012 9:15 AM

I was looking at a wiki page for a French game just patched by Klaz (Bubble Ghost) and it led me over to a magazine.
I see a review for a game called "Bushido". Not speaking the language I can't read the article (French?).
Does anyone know if this game was ever released or maybe released under a different name?
Attached is the article.
This is the whole magazine.

My funny looking JVC SC1224

Wed Mar 21, 2012 5:57 PM

Kinda slow in the ST forum section lately....

Anyway, I got a JVC SC1224 from ebay. Had to get a cable from Best to use it. $19 isnt a bad price for the cable.
Mostly because when I tried to make my own I shorted something and had to buy a new GLUE for my 1040STFm...

So this JVC had some of the dark gray bezel scratched away and it looked kinda ugly.
I stopped by the hobby shop and picked up a can of model paint with a nice dull gray cap.
Taped off the monitor body and screen and started spraying.
However the paint that came out of the can was not gray, it was silver....
I went with it. :-)
Actually doesn't look bad... I guess... heh...
