  1. Hey everyone the usb drive is back in stock on Atari site
  2. Ok hope someone is willing to explain this step by step. im a debian dummy. After realizing I needed to use command prompts instead of downloading like I’m used to in windows….i finally managed to get retroarch installed on the pc mode usb from Atari. I selected my cores I wanted. But….i have the bios files and some Roms downloaded and unzipped in my download folder….BUT I have no idea how to create say a new desktop folder and name it Roms and another names bios just to organize things…like I could in Windows. I have no idea how to direct retro arch to find the bios or rom files in this Debian environment LOL I feel like an idiot. Looked online for 2 days and that’s the only way I even got it installed but now I’m at an impass. Hope someone can help me make and name some folders and direct me how to find these installed files like I could in windows explorer. And how to I transfer these bios and rom games from the download section of Debian and get them into or scanned by retroarch thank you so much for any help!!!!!
  3. Thank you so much for your help. Seriously much appreciated!!!
  4. Hmmm ok sorry for what are 2 more questions I should know without asking. But looking at specs on the usb I can’t tell. so on emulation station page for desbian download….its got x86 and x64 versions….im assuming the x64 version but is that correct??? and as far as Roms go…I have a bunch on a usb. Can I plug in that second usb drive to the VCS and copy them into the Atari USB emuparadise folder or do I need to download them all again using the Atari pc mode usb only if that makes sense
  5. Can’t let them end up with the ET cartridges!!!
  6. Oh darn ok so the vcs classic has blue tooth would it connect via Bluetooth to it or not? I’ve read the blue tooth doesn’t work on PC either so I’m guessing it can only link that way to the VCS OS. So I’m assuming no adapter exists to hardwire it then? Guess it’s kind of a dumb idea but there are so many inventors making adapters for everything just wondered if someone accomplished it exists
  7. So I can plug the new Atari VCS classic controller …even if it’s wired and not using the blue tooth with this 8bitdo Retro Receiver and mega 7800 adapter….into the 2600+ and original 2600???
  8. Hmmm true lag would definitely ruin it. Probably right not worth it.
  9. Yes I know it’s probably weird but something about it definitely very happy with it.
  10. Thank you I appreciate that info very much!
  11. Is there any possible way via adapter to use the new Atari vcs classic controller on the 2600+??? I know Bluetooth won’t work but wondering if there is a usb to db9 or something to allow that to work or even then on the original 2600? really like the feel of the new classic controller would be great to use it on those
  12. So finally got my hands on the PC mode Atari USB. I could never get into the bios password wouldn’t work so can not disable secure boot to use a batocera usb . im trying to run Stella , Intellivision, Colecovision emulators to play those Roms with this Atari usb stick booting into desbian can I install batocera on it or will that kick it out because of the secure boot issue upon booting up just like it would if I just made my own batocera usb?? if that’s the case my only option is download separate emulators assuming they are Linux compliant and download and add Roms that way? Hope that made sense lol
  13. Hi. Anyone know of an adapter that could allow use of the wireless classic controller (plugged in of course) to be used on the Atari 2600+ system or even the original 2600? I really like that controller a lot better and see some on eBay but wanted to see if you guys knew for sure of one that works before I waste money. Thanks!!
  14. Made the iso…put it on external flash drive….all looks good booting on vcs but then I get this. I click to do the update…eventually vcs restarts and then right back in endless loop to the language page and time zone…click next…then a few minutes later bam that same error message about to give up and try Linux but I hate quitting haha
