Calling out to all of my buds out there: I am in a middle of a restoration project on an older fan I've had for a while (Emerson 79646-AL, from 1940)...and I'm itching for another one so I can take it to the office.
While I'd prefer an Emerson similar to the one I have, I am open to different ones pre 1954.
So...please do me a favor and take a look in the garage, attic or basement. Raid your grandparents house, or see what you can find in the local thrift shops. Then let me know what you have (I'll pay for rusty ones if not too bad and if the fan works).
I'll give ya cash...
Trade you games....
Wash the filth off your dog....
You get the idea.
I do eventually want one to restore for an in-law...so I may be open to grabbing 2 or 3 fans. Let me know. I'll post my restoration pics at a later date.

Two new versions of released games (Malibu Bikin and Road Riot)
Mon Dec 26, 2011 2:42 PM
I haven't fooled around with this too much, but check out the Screenshots I have for Malibu Bikini that are new...
I haven't played this game much, so I don't know what is too different compared to the released version. Some of it is different (especially in the attract screens).

malibu new screen.JPG 69.21K

Malibu Bikini VB-DEBUG title screen.JPG 71.43K
12 downloads
As for Road Riot... I am going to spend some extra time with it right now. It appears that I have a version where the stupid vecichle doesn't flip at every single bump (which is awesome) and I think the controls were changed. I'll get more info on that later.
Road riot(different).zip 148.96K

Malibu-Debug.zip 161.28K

Road Riot appears to be different (starting on the different part of the screen, roads appear different, etc).
Enjoy the files and load them up in Handy (or your flashcarts...)
(Merry Christmas!---even if it is a tad late)

Need help loading a game of Flash Cart
Tue Dec 6, 2011 8:23 AM
I have been using a manual, but obviously somewhere I am screwing up. I am trying to load a game onto Lynxman's Flash Cart, and it doesn't seem to be working. Anyone here have a step-by-step guide for the losers like me?!
I've done it before, but just tried to reload everything onto a different computer and can't get it to work. I have it connected to the cart (I see the menu and everything)... but it just doesn't want to load anything. I've tried multiple games...ones that I know used to work fine.

Mattel and INTV (How you you open them?)
Fri Sep 16, 2011 5:30 AM
So... aside from putting them under my car and driving over them, how the heck do you open these things?
I need to perform surgery... and I can't figure this out without damaging the cart.

PCB Questions...
Thu Sep 15, 2011 7:30 PM
So I am looking to replace my JAMMA Klax PCB with something (practically ANYTHING) different.
I am looking into one of those 60-1 boards, and then came across something locally.
If I buy a Pacman PCB, that has a JAMMA adaptor... is that really going to work? I thought some of these games had Sound boards and other stuff as well.
it is using something like this but claims that it is for the Pacman PCB
jamma adaptor
Now that I think about it... Galaga would be cool as well. Do any of you have experience with these?
