Two horses died yesterday at the Aintree Grand National. It's always been pretty dangerous. Some of the fences are ridiculously high ... so high in fact that the horses don't actually jump them but go through them. I've been reading through the first issue of Zzap 64 and there was a section on how the 64 was 'the world's greatest gaming machine'. Perhaps. But maybe not, according to those in the industry at the time who were interviewed for the piece. Some of the comments are eye opening.

It's taken a very long time but finally took the plunge. A 'letter before action' has been sent to News International, the parent company of the defunct News of the World and The Sun newspapers claiming damages for libel and psychiatric injury.

The value of the claim? Two counts of libel from two articles at £50,000 each and a further £50,000...
