This is a good thread to post what was right & wrong about various Indy games. I never bought an Indy game brand-new, but I always thought that Tomb Raider was the perfect "Indiana Jones" type of game and that it surpassed any Indy game I had ever played. TR sequels drove that series into the ground and changed it to a more mercenary and survivalist feel, IMHO. I feel that any Indiana Jones game must have the film's score / theme in it. That's part of it. And it would be nice to have Brody, Marian, and Sallah in it too. Not sure if any game actually does. ??? I never played Fate of Atlantis - was that on old PC's ? All I've ever played includes these:
Atari 2600 Raiders of the Lost Ark - I was always fascinated by it, but didn't have the patience to play & solve it.
coin-op Indiana Jones & Temple of Doom (rescue children/whip/minecarts) - I always loved this game, didn't get all that far in it due to lack of enough quarters & time though. It seemed to capture the feel and fun of that 2nd movie.
N64 Indiana Jones game - It was like a TR type of game, I grew tired of it quickly & didn't give it much of a chance.
Lego Indiana Jones - just like Lego Star Wars , it is simplistic but pretty fun.
