You know, I'm not using RMT anymore, but I have a list of available experiments ;)

I guess this fits somehow...
Emkay, sometimes I think you really make great pokey test-tunes, with interesting instruments. Sometimes, such as this time, you make horrible tunes.

By the way, is it possible to add an "only list really interesting threads"-button somewhere on the forum (f.e. at the main page)? Threads like these show me that it's still worth it to spend time to visit the forum, but if I only visit the AA forum 4 times a year, it's really easy to miss it.

this result is great..
This pic looks awesome. What kind of paletting did you use? Only 9 colours/scanline, and palette changes during HBLANK? Or also midscanline kernel changes, and > 9 colours/scanline? (I assume you can select the colour density, before starting the converter.)

I don't have time to add promised features to RastaConverter yet, but meanwhile here are some nice pictures (Altirra PAL palette) ,,, [attachments]
At least this shows to me that the VIC2, even if it has some features clearly better than GTIA+ANTIC, it is way different when we compare it to GTIA+ANTIC+CPU. Then we might say they have comparable quality. The VIC2 doesn't have an 'overall better' quality. By far. (And most of the best C64 pics also need VIC2+CPU.) I'm still surprised by the quality of most of these test-pics. Even compared to most G2F results.
