Or what about the AdventureVision? Hard to find as all hell, and once you do you'll wish you left it where it was. It had just four games, all with the worst flicker in the cosmos and graphics barely more detailed than Entex's standalone handhelds. If they're going to knock a novelty semi-portable console, this should have been the one.
The APF-1000's another good candidate, if that thing even counts as a console. Finally, a video game simulation of Boxing that makes the Intellivision game shine by comparison!

If it's anything like the GameBoy Advance version, it'll be set in prehistoric times, with pterodactyls as foes.
This is pretty swell, though. Those sound effects are arcade perfect... I'm really amazed at just what can be squeezed out of the Vex's sound chip. The game itself looks fantastic as well, and I'd bet it plays like a dream with the system's analog controller.

The real pain in the rump is that the special NES-themed Game Boy Advance SP uses front lighting, as opposed to the superior back lighting introduced in later models. I've since moved on to the Game Boy Micro which has the dual advantages of a crisp screen and a tiny size, but it nevertheless would have been nice to have that special edition SP look as nice as the models that were released later.
Also, what the heck happened to my avatar? When AtariAge switched to the new forum software, it must have been left behind in the move!

Was Sniderman's game a hack or an original effort?

Nah, I think it's still Fox. Comedy Central has the distribution rights but I think Fox still has control over the licensing.
Well, that stinks. Did anyone here get a chance to play Sniderman's version of Futurama before it was cancelled? Why were people giving it Cs and Ds? (not to mention C & Ds...)
