Recently I posted an entry into my gaming related blog about my gametesting stint at Broderbund Software. Did a bit of work on numerous titles including "Prince of Persia", "Wolfpack", and "Carmen SanDiego". I have some amusing anecdotes as well.
My entry before that was about my time at LucasArts where I did some work for them after Broderbund Software.
I included plenty of pictures in both entries which should make a good classic gaming nostalgia trip for those who are familiar with these titles.

Looking for a type of switch.
Tue Aug 30, 2011 9:33 PM
I am looking for a specific type of momentary switch. In a regular momentary switch the contacts stay closed as long as you hold down the switch.
What I am looking for is a momentary switch where the contacts re-open (after a short time - less than a second) even if you are still holding down the switch. I don't know what the name of this type of switch or the specific property is.
I am trying to finish off an old project and this is the last major obstacle to complete it.

Looking for the manual for "Wolfpack"
Wed Aug 10, 2011 11:12 PM
As the topic states, I am looking for the manual for the sub simulation game "Wolfpack" put out by Broderbund Software. It is one of the few games I worked on as a gametester that I actually have credits for and one of the last games I did before leaving the company.
I found the manual for the CD-ROM version on the net but it is not the same and much shorter and does not have the credits listed. I have been unable to find the manual to the much larger manual that came with the floppy disk (PC, Amiga) versions.
The reason I want the manual is for use with my resume. I want the front cover and credits list to use for it.
I am trying to return to the gaming industry and wish to add as much of my previous credits as I can to it. I am also using my GameFAQs work as a portfolio as well.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
