As the 800XL is the only A8 I have ever owned, I would have to go with that. But I do like the style of it, I was never really taken with the look o the XE series, nor the pre XL models.

In Topic: Sinclair ZX81 in Lego blocks

I've got a ZX Spectrum+ sitting on my desk right now. It kind of looks like it WAS made out of lego.
I suspect it wouldn't be too hard to replace most of the case with lego, leaving a 'hole' for the oddly shaped keys that it has.

Whilst the idea of a super fast a8 appeals to me, I have to agree with atari8warez. At the end of the day, I would just rather have my stock 800XL (with the SIO2PC for convenience).
