But they play very differently!

Aside from the A8, followed by the C64 - the rest are nowhere near as beautifully balanced and have the tight controls the original has - the UK sourced 8bit conversions (ZX, CPC etc) all look dreadful and feel dreadful to play...

Some even break the basic design - letting Green Yamo follow you everywhere, others have horridly imprecise controls (the BBC one is just beyond belief awful).

P.S. Goonies was done by a colleague of mine at Microprose, all round programming genius Scott Spanburg (he also did the Awesome Pooyan) back before he joined MPS and did little titles like M1 Tank...

As I seem to remember a thread or two here about it

Why "seem to remember" when you can search and ask the posters directly?

I'm using an LG47LW650T - and I have to say that both RF for 7800/2600 and composite for XL/XE pictures are fantastic - very stable, vert clear, whilst not VGA quality the PQ is truly excellent - better than my previous 32" SONY LCD, or Bravia CRT...

Tezz,

Oops, my bad, I was sure the chunky version was there :(

Oh well, one day hopefully I'll find them, along with Trap, Psygnosis Barbarian etc...
