  1. I think Atari still has some rights to Checkered Flag, so Pixel Games UK would have to include Atari for Checkered Flag to show up. Not that they have not worked together before to put Checkered Flag on Steam, but Pixel Games UK may have wanted this release to be all theirs.
  2. The capitalization on the track listing is making me crazy.
  3. Considering homebrews are still being made, if he included homebrews this book would never be finished. It is okay for people to discuss the original retail games. Why must people bring up homebrews into every discussion about retail games?
  4. They sold the Jaguar there originally, even with the car company. Although I do remember hearing about the car company and Atari talking back then.
  5. I recall that being hinted at, but I do not remember it ever being explicitly stated. I guess we can try to ask @TrogdarRobusto, but I doubt we get a straight answer. I do wonder why Robo-Squash, Warbirds, and Tank were lumped in with those other ips.
  6. I was just looking at this, and I noticed something I do not think I ever noticed or knew before. The Lynx game Robo-Squash was sold off when Warbirds was. I see Tank in there also, was this the original Tank arcade game? We know Warbirds came back with this acquisition, did Robo-Squash and Tank also come back? This was pointed out to me by somebody else, but all the games on the list on the right were also at least also partially owned by Firaxis, which is now owned by Take-Two Interactive. I also see that Iron Soldier was marked through.
  7. I like Eggomania more than Kaboom! You know, I might like Lost Luggage more too. Something about having a terrorist's suitcase bomb going off and killing you is quite exciting.
  8. I like E.T. The Extra-Terrestial and think it is a fun game.
  9. 32,130 for me on Columns if we are playing on easy.
  10. I had forgot where this thread went, so when I looked at the last post, I was confused. I was trying to remember the 2600 game Prometheus.
  11. Space Cavern was an early release by Games by Apollo, before they went with the blue label standard across all their releases. They rereleased it after the change to match everything else.
  12. Since I was just playing Superman, my six year old asked if she could play it. Even though she is grounded from electronics right now, I said yes. And she beat Superman without any help from me for the very first time. The last time she played, she needed help getting Clark Kent back to the Daily Planet, but not this time. Her score was 1246.
  13. GenXGrown-Up did a couple of videos of Superman recently. Jon likes to show some tricks and stuff in his videos, and I was thinking of one he didn't mention. Then I tried it, and it does not work. For some reason, I had it in my head that Superman only had to catch Lex Luthor and repair the bridge to turn back into Clark Kent to finish the game. I tried it, and it does not work. My question is where did I get that from? At one time, was there a rumor that you did not have to capture the five henchmen? I cannot imagine I completely made that up out of whole cloth, but maybe I did. I am glad I did not make a comment about that on the video. He also did a video about finishing the game with 0 seconds off the clock. I did not know about this trick.
  14. Honestly, the hacking mini game looks like the best part of the game to me. I will probably get it and see how it plays.
