There are now 3 boxed Spikers on Ebay. Although one has a beat up box. Still, this has to be the most on at one time?

humm, price could go lower :)

Hey, you still need one dont you?

Are you going to try for one?

(not the crappy one of course)

i was keeping my money for something else but I would probably put a bid....this is the last one that i need so why not now.

I still think Spiker is the rarest of the original 125. I would certainly agree that LF1 and LF2 are particularly hard to find CIB but there are always loose ones available on ebay, as well as Stadium and Congo. Spiker, on the other hand, rarely comes up for sale even loose. I also agree that LF1 and LF2 being educational games were not very popular but seeing as they had a longer production life (released a year earlier if my memory serves?) I suspect there were more copies produced, especially since INTV seems to have run out of cash mid-production on Spiker and Stadium and the company assembling the carts was left with thousands of loose circuit boards and rolls and rolls of stickers(Source: Digital Press Collectors guide 7th edition). As Rev mentioned, it had been at least two years without a Spiker listing on ebay and after the two or three sales north of $1000 I just believe it has brought a few out of the woodwork from people looking to cash in. Either way, the five games are certainly all hard to get and/or expensive CIB.

almost 15 years of collecting and i agree with cmart post. spiker is the rarest intellivision game
